Strawberry Birthday

'Strawberry Birthday' by Neil Burley

I'm never afraid to take a literal approach to a challenge theme, and here's my 'fruity' card for this month's 'feeling fruity' theme here at The Crafting Cafe. It features the delightful 'Eleanor's Heart Balloons' from our sponsor Lacy Sunshine Stamps coloured with ProMarkers. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. The card itself is made from a folded sheet of red card, cut to shape and flecked with Bisque Liquid Pearls. The leafy bit is part of a large poinsettia punch and a flare punch over the top. Not at all my normal style, but I think I'll get away with it ;)

Colours:
Hair - Pastel Yellow / Sunflower / Gold / Caramel
Skin - Blush / Oatmeal / Apricot
Hearts - Berry Red
Sweater - Pale Pink
Skirt - Cool Aqua

July - Feeling Fruity - Angelie

Hi there

Hope you are enjoying the summer and our fruity challenge this month! I decided to go with fruity colours for my DT inspiration card but as I've been making quite a few cards which are pink / purple based recently, I took my inspiration from my breakfast bowl when I made this... blueberries and bananas :)

Still a few days left to enter the challenge as we'd love to see your designs

Hugs
Angelie

Feeling Fruity, by Amanda

Hi, Amanda here with my project for July's Feeling Fruity challenge.  The sponsor this month is Lacy Sunshine, and I've combined their gorgeous Tilly Dinosaur digi with conventional stamping and some bright citrus fruit colours to make a birthday card for a child.  I hope you like it!  For more details, please take a look at my blog, here.

Happy crafting!
