Our challenge for this month is "Anything Goes" - so get creative and show us what you can do! If you are new to us or unsure of our challenge rules you will find them over in the right hand side bar. Make sure you give them a read before you enter.

Layered-Paper Rocking Horse

'Layered-Paper Rocking Horse' by Neil Burley

For this month's 'anything goes' challenge, the DT got to choose digistamps from our sponsors The Stamping Boutique. I couldn't resist this gorgeous rocking horse, and with a bit of digital jiggery pokery I created a cut file for my Silhouette e-cutter. Using time honoured decoupage techniques, I layered up the 160gsm card shapes to create this 3D layered sculpture. It's all in white card with no lines at all, and relies on shadows to create the form. Great fun, and now I have the cut files, easy to reproduce should I wish to.

Hi Folks

Mags here to share a little inspiration for our Anything Goes challenge.

As you can see I decided to decorate a gift bag.  I used all papers and embellishments that I have had in my stash for quite a long time.  I coloured the image using promarkers and the lettering is a die cut.

Hey Everyone :) Happy New Year!

Well its my second month posting for Crafting Cafe and I have to say I'm still loving every minute of it.

January Anything Goes - by Claire

Hello Everyone and welcome to The Crafting Cafe January challenge - the theme this month is "ANYTHING GOES" and we are sponsored this month by The Stamping Boutique!

This month I have used the Umbrella Whimsy 2 digi from our sponsor - The Stamping Boutique - for my inspiration card:

I shrank the image and pasted it three times - flipping one image over in the centre. I then printed this out onto cream card, trimmed and inked around the edges with vintage photo distress ink.  I then mounted it onto dark brown cardstock, added ribbon down the side and then mounted onto a kraft DL card blank.

Happy new year everyone!  At least all this grotty weather gives us all plenty of excuses to stay in and craft!

Our sponsor this month is The Stamping Boutique, and I chose their gorgeous Rocking Horse digi stamp to work with.  When I used to do card making demos, people would often say how much they loved stamps, but didn't enjoy the colouring in.  If that applies to you, then I hope my project will give you some inspiration to try something new.  I've made a bold and bright new baby girl card, and have coloured only a few details.
